A lino print of the the beautiful village of Abbotsbury in west Dorset. Depicted on a sunny day with the light glimmering on the sea behind St. Catherines chapel on the hill and lighting up Chesil Beach.
This is a reduction print, which uses just one lino block which is gradually cut away, printing a different colour or tonal change at each stage. Many layers of ink are added until everything but the final detail has been cut away.
It is printed using oil based inks on printmakers paper.
Printed area is 43.5 x 21.5cm
Each print is signed and is one of an edition of 25.
